Heather James Fine Art presents Picasso, an exhibition of fine artwork by Pablo Picasso that highlights the artist’s inventive and prolific career.
Picasso features an exquisite linoleum cut print by Picasso, an example of his early experimentation with colored linocuts, that evokes Picasso’s cubism in Cranach the Younger’s classical portrait style.
The centerpiece of Picasso is certainly the ceramic collection, including Chouette aux Traits (Wood-Owl in Lines), a 1951 ceramic of white earthenware clay that exemplifies Picasso’s fondness for these feathery creatures.
