La Reine de la Nuit boit l'eau des mains croisées de la foi, tandis que deux bergers s'embrassent, ignorant la naissance de Jésus. Les anges, représentés presque translucidement sur la toile, pulvérisent de l'eau bénite et provoquent l'offrande de cadeaux. Un joyau précieux est représenté dans le coin droit, tandis qu'un humble panier de dindes repose sur le cap de la Vierge.
