What does it take to curate and install artworks for a luxury home? Heather James Fine Art has the answer: with a dedicated and experienced Operations team including professional art handlers, a full registrar department and logistical team with extensive experience in art transportation, installation, and collection management. Heather James provides a wide range of client-based services catered to your specific art collecting needs.
Our level of commitment and expertise was on display recently as we assisted in the Dolphin Terrace project. Heather James provided a curation of artworks by our Los Angeles-based Senior Curator Chip Tom and art transport and installation by our Operations team.
Chip Tom has curated exhibitions across the globe and has worked with museums including the Centre D’Art Contemporain in Geneva and the USC Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena. Recent international exhibitions include “Wynn – Garden of Earthly Delights”, part of the inaugural Art Macao Biennale. For Dolphin Terrace, Chip has curated a tight selection of works that speak to the home and location, enhancing it without distracting from the overall design.
Our Experienced Operations Team has a combined, decades of experience in the physical and logistical movement and installation of artworks across the globe. Whether for a home, a gallery, or a museum, they provide a white glove service that respects the artwork and the specific needs our each client, tailored to a project-by-project basis.
Dolphin Terrace is not Chip’s and our Operations Team’s first home staging. Earlier in 2022, we collaborated with the Desert Oasis Show House and in February 2020, we participated in the Mesa Modern home showcase.
The Dolphin Terrace project was a collaborative effort to bring to life this new construction. Listed by Josh Altman of Altman Group from Bravo TV show “Million Dollar Listing”.
